What is Kung Fu?

Kung fu is more than a fighting system for the body. Its techniques and principles also develop your mind and spirit.

Through the study of kung fu, you gain an ancient tradition of techniques for self defense as well as physical and mental conditioning and wellness.  Seeing improvements as you progress increases self confidence, self respect and respect for others. It is an art that teaches balance within self, which leads to a commitment to community and aiding those in need.

Kung fu creates good citizens.

Kung Fu is NOT about violence, aggression or fighting.

It is a time tested system of exercises designed to improve breathing, flexibility, muscle strength, physical conditioning (internal and external), balance, power, coordination and focus.

Hung Gar Kung Fu is a style of kung fu with roots in Shaolin Temple.
